Lydia originally trained as a classical saxophonist before becoming involved in the jazz scene through NYJO in 2021. Since then, she has immersed herself in improvisation, performing extensively across jazz, contemporary classical, and folk-improvisation settings.
Her diverse musical interests continue to shape a creative and exploratory approach to performance and collaboration.
