Lexi Turvey began their journey with the National Youth Jazz Orchestra over a decade ago as a member of the NYJO Academy. The experience played a formative role in their development as a musician and helped shape their career as a freelance performer and brass teacher.
Since studying at Trinity Laban Conservatoire, Lexi has worked extensively across NYJO’s flagship ensembles and educational programmes, performing and teaching throughout the UK. They have appeared with pit orchestras, symphony orchestras, and big bands, while sharing their passion for music in classrooms and workshop settings nationwide.
