Holly began her musical journey as a classical pianist before moving to clarinet and eventually finding her primary musical voice on the saxophone.
Alongside her musical pursuits, Holly studied Chemistry at university, where her research focused on photo-activated drug delivery methods. As a performer, she draws inspiration from artists including Cannonball Adderley, Jackie McLean, Sonny Stitt, Joe Henderson, John Hicks, McCoy Tyner, Gwilym Simcock, and Rachael Cohen. Having performed in big bands and large ensembles since the age of ten, Holly continues to value the energy, camaraderie, and collective musical experience that these groups provide.
