Simon Cooke

Simon has a very broad range of experience on the commercial side of the music business, from touring with the likes of Genesis, Queen, Prince, AC/DC and very many others, to creating the record label Hed Kandi whilst Enterprise Director of Jazz FM radio station (1996 to 2003). He was Managing Director of Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club from 2008 to 2020, during which time the club was re-established as the premier jazz club in the world.
Whilst at Jazz FM, Simon created the Big Band in a Day programme for kids, and in 2015, Simon set up the Ronnie Scott’s Charitable Foundation.

Simon has a sculpture studio on Eel Pie Island where he makes portrait heads of jazz musicians.
