Sunshine is a Fine Artist, Performer, Singer-Songwriter and Educator. She has previously worked with NYJO as a lead artist at their Peckham Levels residency, vocalist on their Sun Ra Reimagined project and led research workshops ahead of their tribute to the great James Baldwin for their ‘The Fire Next Time’ performance at the Southbank.
A beloved figure within London’s Jazz scene, Sunshine is a core as member of the Orii Community Jam that started in Hackney and has taken the whole city by a storm. She will be bringing her signature vocals and unique stage presence to Arts Club Cambridge as part of their ‘Jazz Meets’ series this June, along with some excellent instrumentalists from NYJO. Together they have crafted a set of original, bold music to inspire and soothe.
