Passionate about collective creativity and spontaneity in music, Josh spent two years performing with Knats before leaving his hometown to explore a broader range of musical styles. Developing a particular interest in contemporary classical music, Josh went on to study composition with Mark-Anthony Turnage and Errollyn Wallen, alongside piano with Mike Moran, at the Royal College of Music in London.
He currently focuses on writing original music for his jazz trio, Common Ground, teaching young musicians, and contributing to a wide variety of independent musical projects. He is due to graduate from the Royal College of Music in July 2026.
