Music-Making with She’s Got Brass
For young people aged 13 – 18, who are Grades 3 and above on their instrument and are interested in exploring ensemble playing and songwriting.
Across the 2 days, you will have the chance to learn some of She’s Got Brass’ own arrangements together as a brand-new ensemble, as well as writing your own original tunes. This will be a chance for you to make new friends, explore exciting musical sounds, and create something brilliant together!
This project will be female-led, but is open to young people of all genders and any instrumentation.
She’s Got Brass is London’s only 10-piece, all-female brass powerhouse, bringing bold, high-energy performances that fuse originals and inventive covers across pop, dance, jazz, and R&B genres.
2025 has seen them storm stages from the O2 and Royal Albert Hall to Glastonbury and Boomtown festivals, winning over packed crowds with their vibrant sound.
Beyond the stage, they champion music education and gender equality in the arts.
Fees to take part in the project are:
1. Free if you are in receipt of Pupil Premium/Free School Meals/from a low-income family in receipt of any form of benefit.
2. £15 if you live or study in the borough of Greenwich.
3. £30 for all other young people.
