After a great experience with our community choir, the Sherard Road Songbirds (delivered in partnership with Age UK) which will start back again in September, we’re joining forces with the Greenwich Carers Centre once again, this time to deliver a series of creative music-making workshops, at Woolwich Works.
We particularly welcome people from the area with caring responsibilities, but the group is open to everyone who would benefit from making music in a relaxed, judgement-free social environment, regardless of age, skills, or experience. The instruments will be ready for you to pick them up and play, led by experienced music educator, Lindsay Evernden.
This practical music making group for carers aims to explore pitch, rhythm, texture and tone in a warm friendly setting. Instruments used include non-pitched and pitched percussion and keyboard. No previous experience required just come along and have some fun!
