NYJO’s partnership with Arts Club Cambridge continues in an exhilarating collaboration with saxophonist, composer and bandleader Jasmine Myra.

Originally part of the bustling, creative, cross-genre music scene in Leeds having attended Leeds Conservatoire, Jasmine has surrounded herself with some of the best young talent from the city. Her original instrumental music has a euphoric and uplifting sound, influenced by artists as diverse as Kenny Wheeler, Bonobo, Ólafur Arnalds and Moses Sumney.

Jasmine Myra’s sophomore album Rising builds on the success of her breakthrough album Horizons to deliver a major statement from one of UK Jazz’s rising stars.
