Having had a long business career with IBM, Nigel became Executive Chair of NYJO in 2009 and led its subsequent transformation with Vice-Chair Jack Fallow until the appointment of a Chief Executive in 2021. He is also a PastMaster of the Worshipful Company of Musicians, whose Jazz Committee he started in the 1980s with the help of the late Sir John Dankworth.
